Alexia Wensing
Registered Psychotherapist, Certified Clinical Counsellor (she/her)
Alexia supports adults who want to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of the people she works with find themselves overthinking their choices, feeling stuck in familiar patterns, or wanting a clearer sense of direction and confidence. She also works with athletes navigating performance pressure, mental blocks, and the complex relationship between identity and sport. Her work focuses on helping clients gain insight into their experiences while building practical tools to move forward.

Alexia holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology. She has worked in both private practice and psychiatric settings, supporting adults through anxiety, ADHD, trauma, stress, and life challenges. Her goal is to create a warm, thoughtful space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, understand their patterns, and develop a stronger sense of clarity and self trust.

Her approach is trauma informed and integrates several therapeutic perspectives including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, REBT, and parts based work. Alexia works collaboratively with clients to tailor sessions to their goals and preferences, often focusing on self awareness, emotional regulation, trauma processing, and adjusting patterns or beliefs that no longer serve them.
