Sandy He

Registered Psychotherapist - Qualifying, HBA, MACP, CCTP (she/her)

Sandy holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, as well as a Certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional. Her previous experience was working in nonprofit as a Youth and Family Counsellor and Program Coordinator that served low income and newcomers. In working with children and adults, Sandy have passion for finding unique ways to create a more personal therapy space for you.

Sandy's approach is tailored to fit each individual, and she operates within a trauma- and culturally-informed framework. Drawing from various modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), she strives to provide a comprehensive and effective therapeutic experience. Sandy’s interest includes depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, intergenerational conflict, and self-esteem.

Outside of her work, Sandy can be found planning her next trip, performing in a local musical theatre production, baking, or playing badminton. Her diverse interests reflect a well-rounded and dynamic approach to both her professional and personal life.
