Alicia Alessandrini

Registered Social Worker (BSW, MSW) EMDR Practitioner (she/her)

Helping adults navigate anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, self-esteem, people-pleasing, and burnout through virtual therapy and EMDR.

Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to hold everything together, constantly questioning yourself, or feeling like you’re never quite “good enough.” You might be people-pleasing, masking, struggling with anxiety or ADHD, or noticing that experiences from your past are still affecting how you feel about yourself and your relationships today. Maybe being compassionate toward yourself sounds nice in theory, but feels almost impossible in practice.Therapy can help you understand what’s underneath these patterns, work through what you’ve been carrying, and build a relationship with yourself that feels a little less critical and a lot more sustainable. We’ll start with a free consult call.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, relationships, and life transitions. I bring a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental approach to therapy, with a particular interest in self-compassion and helping you reconnect with yourself without feeling like you need to become a completely different person first.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. I draw from EMDR, trauma-focused and attachment-based therapy, DBT, IFS, Narrative Therapy, and compassion-focused approaches depending on what you bring into the room. Whether we’re processing past experiences, understanding neurodivergence, or working with what’s happening in your life right now, we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and focus on changes that actually matter to you.

Individual counselling in Ontario and Saskatchewan. Virtual therapy and phone therapy.
