Therapy for Life Changes & Transitions

Life is full of change - some we're prepared for, some we're not - but even positive transitions can feel overwhelming. Our therapists provide support to help you adjust, cope, and find your footing through uncertain times.

-
Explore the change or transition you’re navigating
 -
Identify the emotions and challenges that feel heaviest

Begin building tools and strategies to help you feel more grounded and supported

You’ll leave with clarity, hope, and the reassurance that you don’t have to face change alone.
02
Why Change Feels So Hard
Transitions — even positive ones — challenge our sense of stability and identity. They often bring uncertainty, grief, or self-doubt. For those with past trauma or nervous system sensitivities, change can feel even more overwhelming.
At Fika, we view life transitions not as problems to “fix” but as opportunities for growth and clarity. Therapy helps you process the emotions that come with change, so you can step into the next chapter with resilience.
04
Modalities We Use
EMDR, ACT, Polyvagal-informed therapy, mindfulness, expressive arts, breathwork, attachment based, CBT, DBT skills, self-compassion approaches, Narrative therapy, and IFS and parts work (ego states).
Your therapist will let you know what they draw from.
